19-20-503. Transfer of dormant savings account. The retirement board may, in its discretion, transfer the amount in the annuity savings account of an inactive member to the pension accumulation fund if the account has been dormant for a period of 7 years. No right of the member may be jeopardized by such transfer, and the amount shall be transferred back to the member's annuity savings account upon his request.
