19-7-601. Disability retirement benefit. In the case of the disability of a member, regardless of the member's length of service, a disability retirement benefit must be awarded to the member based on the actuarial equivalent of the member's service retirement benefit under 19-7-503 standing to the member's credit at the time of the member's disability retirement.
