     37-7-303. Annual renewal fee. A person licensed and registered by the department shall annually pay to the department on or before the date set by department rule a renewal of registration fee prescribed by the board. A default in the payment of a renewal fee after the date it is due increases the renewal fee as prescribed by the board. It is unlawful for a person who refuses or fails to pay the renewal fee to practice pharmacy in this state. A certificate and renewal expires at the time prescribed, not later than 1 year from its date. A defaulter in a renewal fee may be reinstated within 1 year of the default without examination on payment of the arrears and compliance with other requirements prescribed by law.
