39-7-606. Program evaluation. (1) The department shall evaluate the extent to which the incentive program and the child care assistance described in 39-7-604 and 39-7-605 increase:
     (a) the number of AFDC recipients who obtain gainful employment; and
     (b) the number of former AFDC recipients who continue to be gainfully employed for at least 6 months.
     (2) Program evaluation must include a determination, every 6 months from the beginning of employment until June 30, 1989, of the employment status of each person who qualifies a program operator for a cash bonus under 39-7-604 or who receives child care assistance under 39-7-605.
