52-2-705. Child-care advisory council -- membership. (1) The governor shall appoint a child-care advisory council to assist the department in carrying out the responsibilities under this part.
(2) The council is composed of not less than 10 members, including parents, child-care providers, representatives of state agencies involved in child care, and other persons interested in child care.
(3) The council shall:
(a) review and coordinate the statewide child-care plan; and
(b) advise the department on all child-care matters.
