7-14-2903. Authority to conduct improvements. Upon petition of a majority of the landowners in a road improvement district, a board of county commissioners may authorize the reconstruction, upgrade, repair, maintenance, or other road improvement to be performed by the district. Before the board may authorize the improvement, notice must be mailed to the landowners of the road improvement district, as provided in 7-1-2122, and a public hearing must be held if one is requested in writing by any landowner in the district.
