7-16-4105. Authorization to levy tax for various cultural, social, and recreational facilities. For the purpose of procuring, equipping, and maintaining public parks, swimming pools, skating rinks, playgrounds, civic centers, youth centers, museums, and combinations thereof, the council or commission in any city or town may levy, in addition to the levy for general municipal or administrative purposes, an amount not exceeding 7 mills on the dollar on the taxable value of the property to be taxed of the city or town.
