7-2-2505. Publication and posting of copies of petition. Upon the filing of the petition as aforesaid, the clerk of the district court, upon the receipt of the cost from any voter in the county, shall cause a copy of the same to be published for 4 successive weeks in some newspaper published in the county, and a copy of such petition must be posted at three of the most public places in the county for a like period by the clerk of the district court. Proofs must be made of such publication and posting before the petition can be considered and before a date for the hearing thereon may be fixed by the court.
