7-6-2315. Consideration of tabulation by county commissioners -- exception. (1) The tabulation must be submitted to the county commissioners by the county clerk and recorder on or before the third Monday of July.
(2) Upon receipt, the board of county commissioners shall immediately consider the budget in detail and shall, on or before the fourth Monday of July, make any revisions, reductions, additions, or changes that the board considers advisable. The tabulation, with any revisions, reductions, additions, or changes, is the county proposed budget for the fiscal year which it is intended to cover.
(3) This section does not apply to a county that has adopted the alternative accounting method provided for in Title 7, chapter 6, part 6.
