15-24-904. Penalty for violation of law. If any person, persons, company, or corporation who is the owner or is in charge of any livestock within this state fails to make the statement or statements as provided in 15-24-903, the department may, after 10 days' notice to the person who failed to file the report, increase the assessment by 10% as a penalty.
