19-2-801. Designation of beneficiary. In the absence of any statutory beneficiaries, designated beneficiaries are the natural persons that the member or payment recipient designates on the membership card or other form provided by the division. Unless otherwise provided by statute, a member or payment recipient may revoke the designation and name different designated beneficiaries by filing with the board a new membership card or other form provided by the division.
