2-15-1856. Board of barbers. (1) There is a board of barbers.
(2) The board consists of three barbers and one public member who is not a barber appointed by the governor with the consent of the senate. Each barber member shall be a practicing barber who has been a barber in this state for at least 5 years immediately before his appointment.
(3) Each member shall serve for a term of 3 years. The governor may remove a member for cause.
(4) The board is allocated to the department for administrative purposes only as prescribed in 2-15-121.
