20-6-316. Conditions for high school district annexation. (1) A high school district may be annexed to another high school district located in the same county when:
     (a) a third-class district is annexed to a first-class district or a second-class district; or
     (b) a second-class district is annexed to a first-class district.
     (2) The annexation of high school districts must be conducted under the provisions of 20-6-317.
