33-1-411. Destruction of records -- hindrance of examination -- penalty. Any director, officer, agent, or employee of any company who for the purpose of hindering any examination conducted pursuant to this part destroys any books, records, or documents required to be kept by law shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000. After notice and hearing in accordance with Title 33, chapter 1, part 7, the commissioner may revoke the certificate of authority of such company.
