46-24-211. Information concerning appeal or postconviction remedies. If the defendant appeals or pursues a postconviction remedy, the attorney general, or the county attorney if the case has not been referred to the attorney general, shall promptly inform the victim of the notice of appeal or postconviction petition, of the date, time, and place of any hearing, and of the decision.
