5-5-202. Interim activities of committees. During an interim when the legislature is not in session, all regularly appointed standing or select committees of either house not formally discharged prior to the final adjournment of the preceding session shall continue as such committees. They are empowered to continue to sit as such committees and may act through their joint subcommittees.
