7-14-2606. Survey of road. (1) The board may order the county surveyor, or some other competent surveyor if the county surveyor is incompetent, to survey and plat the road. He shall file his field notes with the county clerk and recorder.
     (2) The surveyor shall receive $7 per day and actual traveling expenses.
