76-5-1111. Apportionment of costs. (1) The cost of all right-of-way acquired by purchase or condemnation together with any other property rights which may be required in furtherance of such projects, may be borne by the city, town, or county.
     (2) The work of actual construction and the cost thereof may be borne by the federal government.
