77-4-201. Lease or license of power sites. It shall be unlawful to sell or advertise for sale state lands constituting power sites or part of power sites capable of developing hydroelectric energy in commercial quantities; but the board is hereby granted power and authority to issue lease or license to any person, corporation, or municipality for the development of such power sites and the distribution, use, and disposition of the electric energy generated thereon, as herein more specifically provided.
