18-7-107. State printing, binding, and stationery work. All printing, binding, and stationery work for the state of Montana must be printed in the state of Montana by the lowest responsible bidder if the bid, including the cost of delivery, does not exceed the lowest bid by a nonresident printer by more than 8%. If there is no responsible in-state bidder, the work may be performed by the lowest responsible bidder outside the state. Federal exemptions as specified in 18-1-102(2)(b) apply.
