35-12-612. Filing of application for renewal of certification -- issuance of certificate. (1) If the secretary of state finds that the application for renewal of certification of a limited partnership complies with the provisions of this part, he shall, when all fees have been paid as provided by rule:
     (a) endorse on the original and on the copy the word "filed" and the month, day, and year of filing;
     (b) file the original in his office; and
     (c) issue a certificate of renewal, to which he shall affix the copy.
     (2) The secretary of state shall return to the general partner or partners submitting the application the certificate of renewal, together with an attached copy of the application for renewal of certification of a limited partnership.
