37-8-418. Licensed practical nursing -- application fee. An applicant for a license to practice as a licensed practical nurse shall pay a fee prescribed by the board to the department at the time the application is submitted, which fee shall be returned to the applicant if the application is withdrawn not later than 5 days prior to the date of examination or the final submission to the board of application for endorsement without examination, subject to a deduction of an amount prescribed by the board to be retained by the department.
