7-6-4264. Receipt and expenditure of money prior to adoption of final budget. A municipality may receive and expend money between July 1 of the fiscal year and the effective date of the resolution adopting a final municipal budget. This section does not apply to a municipality that has adopted the alternative accounting method provided for in Title 7, chapter 6, part 6.
