     76-16-211. Dissolution of district. (1) If a state district ceases to function in accordance with its bylaws and this chapter and it appears to the commission that the reinstatement and future operation of the district is no longer feasible, beneficial, and desirable to the majority of members of the district, the commission, after a hearing and upon 30 days' notice in writing, published for 2 consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in or nearest to the district, may dissolve the district.
     (2) A notice of the dissolution must be filed by the commission with the secretary of state and the clerk and recorder of the county or counties in which the district is located.
