10-2-224. Reinstatement for remainder of term. Any person who is restored to a position in accordance with the provisions of 10-2-221(2) shall be considered as having been on leave of absence during his period of active military service and shall be immediately so restored to his official position as such officer for the balance of the term for which he was elected.
