33-2-326. Penalties. A surplus lines insurance producer who in this state represents or aids an unauthorized insurer in violation of this part is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $1,000 or be imprisoned in the county jail for a term no longer than 6 months, or both.
