     46-9-203. Report to county attorney concerning drug users. A city judge, judge of a municipal court, or justice of the peace shall report immediately to the county attorney of the county wherein his court is located any knowledge or information acquired by him in a trial of a cause or hearing before him, which knowledge or information shows or tends to show that any person is a drug user or drug addict. If such person is under arrest or liberated on bail at the time the knowledge or information is acquired, such person may not be liberated, if under arrest, or the bail discharged by the judge or justice of the peace until the report is made to the county attorney.
