53-19-312. Records -- audit. (1) Each local exchange company shall maintain a record of the charges billed and the charges collected pursuant to 53-19-311 for a period of 1 year from the date of billing or collection, respectively.
     (2) The committee may require an audit of each local exchange company's records to assure proper accounting of all charges billed and collected pursuant to 53-19-311. The audit must be conducted at the expense of the committee.
