61-5-114. Duplicate licenses. In the event that an instruction permit or driver's license issued under the provisions of this chapter is lost or destroyed, the person to whom the same was issued may upon the payment of a fee of $5 obtain a duplicate or substitute thereof, upon furnishing proof satisfactory to the department that such permit or license has been lost or destroyed.
