69-1-113. Removal or suspension of commissioner. If any commissioner fails to perform his duties as provided in this title, he may be removed from office as provided by 45-7-401. Upon complaint made and good cause shown, the governor may suspend any commissioner, and if, in his judgment the exigencies of the case require, the governor may appoint temporarily some competent person to perform the duties of the suspended commissioner during the period of the suspension.
