7-14-2738. Preparation of assessment register. (1) When the order for improvement and construction has been made by the board, the committee and the department of revenue shall apportion the estimated cost and expenses to the land in the district.
(2) Within 30 days before the letting of the contract, the department shall report to and file with the board and the treasurer an assessment register in duplicate. It must contain the description of each parcel of land to be assessed, the amount to be assessed against it, and the name of the owner, if known.
