7-2-2227. Qualification, oath of office, and bond. (1) Each person elected or appointed to fill an office of such new county under the provisions of this part shall qualify in the manner provided by law for such officer, except as otherwise provided, and shall enter upon the discharge of the duties of his office within such time as herein provided after the receipt of the certificate of his election.
(2) Each of such officers may take the oath of office before any officer authorized by the laws of Montana to administer oaths.
(3) The bond of any officer from which a bond is required shall be approved by any judge of the district court of the district to which such new county is attached for judicial purposes.
