7-2-2743. Collection of taxes and other money. Taxes levied for all such funds which were delinquent on the day when such county ceased to exist and for which tax sales had not been held and all licenses and other money owing to such county at such time shall be collected by the treasurer of the county designated in the petition for abandonment as the county to which its territory is to be attached and become a part and placed in and deposited to the credit of the funds of such abandoned and abolished county to which the same properly belong.
