7-3-4309. Effect of vote on question of organization. (1) If such proposition is adopted, the mayor shall transmit to the governor, to the secretary of state, and to the county clerk and recorder each a certificate stating that such proposition was adopted.
     (2) If such proposition shall not be adopted at such special election, such proposition shall not again be submitted to the electors of such municipality within a period of 2 years from the date of the last submission.
