81-2-402. Administration by department of livestock. This part shall be administered by the department of livestock, and in addition to any powers now conferred by law, the department shall have the power and duty to promulgate such reasonable rules and orders not contrary to the provisions of this part, when required, as may be necessary for the proper administration of this part, specifically including but not limited to rules and orders relating to the means for preservation of semen and the use of semen imported into the state of Montana from other states, territories, and possessions of the United States and foreign countries.
