	2011 Rules -- House

   House Rule H40-70. Referral. (1) The Speaker shall refer to a House committee, joint select committee, or joint special committee all properly introduced House legislation and transmitted Senate legislation in conformity to the committee jurisdiction.
   (2) Legislation may not receive final passage and approval unless it has been referred to a House committee, joint select committee, or joint special committee.
