If the office of public instruction distributes less than $850,000 to programs offered for grades 6 through 8, any remaining money may be spent on eligible programs for grades 9 through 12."

Explanation - This amendment increases the general fund appropriation for vocational education by $3.7 million in the 2019 biennium. The amendment also includes language in HB2 directing that in each year of the biennium $1.0 million must be used in grade 9 through 12 and $0.85 million be used in grades 6 through 8.
