Probationary Training And Service -- Patrol Officers

44-1-601. Probationary training and service -- patrol officers. A new patrol officer shall be placed under probationary training and service for a period of 6 months to 1 year. If the chief fails to recommend a permanent appointment by the end of the probationary period, the probationary patrol officer will automatically be discharged.
