Explanation - The amendments passed by the House Business and Labor Committee clarified that the act applied to licenses that resulted from applications submitted as of November 24, 2017. These amendments went into the beer and wine and all-beverage license statutes. However, the same provision was unintentionally omitted for the restaurant beer and wine license statute. This amendment allows the act to apply to restaurant beer and wine licenses that resulted from applications in process as of November 24, 2017. The amendment will make the restaurant beer and wine license language consistent with the other licenses.
