85-2-526. (Temporary) Ground water investigation program account -- use. (1) There is a ground water investigation program account in the state special revenue fund. The account is administered by the Montana bureau of mines and geology and is statutorily appropriated, as provided in 17-7-502, for the purpose of funding activities related to the ground water investigation program, as provided in 85-2-525.

(2) Interest and income earnings in the account must be deposited into the account.

(3) Any money in the account that is unspent or unencumbered at the end of the fiscal year must remain in the account. (Terminates July 1, 2023--sec. 7, Ch. 465, L. 2019.)
