The Economic Affairs Interim Committee of the Montana Legislature will have a hybrid in-person and Zoom meeting on June 30-July 1 to hear updates on COVID-19 economic impacts and continue work on assigned studies, required reports, and an examination of certain rules proposed by state agencies monitored by the committee.
The State-Tribal Relations Committee will review several legislative proposals related to motor carrier services, runaway youth, missing persons, and federal recognition of the Little Shell at its June 24-26 meeting.
The proposals include:
- Motor carrier services bill draft (PD0007 TH)
- Statutory reference changes in light of Little Shell's federal recognition (PD0001)
- Runaway youth
- Homeless shelter consent ...
The Environmental Quality Council withdrew its objection to proposed rules governing the disposal of radioactive waste in Montana landfills at its May meeting.
