Montana State Legislature

Statutory Duties:

• monitoring assigned agencies and their rules; and
• reviewing and providing for early introduction opportunities for agency-proposed legislation.

       Monitoring involves:

• Agency overviews (see below).
• Presentation of proposed legislation, allowing agency legislation to be preintroduced.
• Rule review.
