About the Committee
The State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee (SAVA) is a joint bipartisan committee of the legislature that meets between legislative sessions. The committee conducts administrative rule review, program monitoring, and bill drafting authorization for the following assigned agencies: Dept. of Administration, Public Employees' Retirement Board, Teachers' Retirement Board, State Lottery and Sports Wagering Commission, Dept. of Military Affairs, Board of Veterans' Affairs, Secretary of State's Office, and Office of the Commissioner of Political Practices.
