Section 5-5-215(1)(e) requires interim committees to "review proposed legislation of assigned agencies or entities as provided in the joint legislative rules." The Departments of Revenue and Transportation presented legislative concepts at the July 16-17 Revenue and Transportation Interim Committee meeting and the Department of Revenue requested additional legislation at the September 4-5 meeting. The committee approved for drafting all of the agencies' legislative proposals.
